72,222 - replaced the chain and took in for inspection at Freedom Motorcycles, Brookvale and they failed it based on the front tire. Front tire was looked at by a different shop that replaced the rear tire and he said it was fine. Went back to Brian Conner's and passed the inspection immediately. Freedom Motorcycles are thieves. Here is a picture of the so called bad tire - plenty of tread left.

72,000km Rego due on March 22, but inspected and needs new chain and rear tire. New Avon Storm 2 Ultra from Mike in Rydalmere for $200 AUD.

New Skins 68,888km

Some dork backed into my bike and knocked it to the ground. He broke the front fairing, so I decided to replace all fairings. Both sides were already trashed, so now was a good time.

While the fairings were off, I changed spark plugs and oil. All up, this was about a 10 hour job.

New Starter Relay

61,500 - bike is not starting immediately when pressing the start button.  A delay until the starter is engaged, so replaced started relay.  The new part has the active fuse on the opposite post, but it still works.  Just need to connect positive side of battery with active fuse. Sadly it did not fix the delayed starter engagement, so I will look at the starter kill switch next.

56,500 - New rear tire - Metzeler Sportec M3 (I think). Paid $220 AUD installed.  Bridgestone lasted about 8.5km.  My chain is toast.  I can pull from rear sprocket a fair bit and its making a horrendous griding noise.  Rear sprocket looks ok, but I can't see the front too well.
